Bridge Maintenance Project: Responsible for project management and design for the maintenance of twenty-three (23) bridges under the jurisdiction of Monroe County. Reviewed the latest bridge inspection reports, prioritized maintenance activities, developed design tasks required for the maintenance repairs, the development of plans and specifications along with the bid documents so the County could engage a contractor to perform the necessary repairs and maintenance work.

Act 167 Project: Responsible for project management for county-wide Stormwater Management Plan.
County of Warren, New Jersey
Assistant Bridge Superintendent: Responsible for the maintenance of fourteen (14) bridge structures and pipe culverts varying in size from spans of five feet to twenty feet, including supervision of three four-man crews, for the renovation/removal/replacement of fourteen bridge structures. Responsible for updating the bridge report records, performing bridge inspections, purchasing supplies, management of the eight-truck fleet along with scheduling projects and equipment. Reviewed supplied plans, layout and field engineering decisions during the demolition and reconstruction phases of the bridge replacements.
County of Monroe, Pennsylvania
Building Evaluation - Building Purchase, Stroudsburg, PA: Monroe County required evaluation prior to purchase of an approximately 38,000 sq. ft. building (approximately 14,350 sq. ft. footprint), constructed approximately in the mid-1920’s. An initial condition inspection of the building to include the roof, façade, the building structure, and mechanical systems was performed. Existing building plans were not available for review. A visual observation of the subject building noted deficiencies in the building envelope, structure, and systems. A cursory building code review was also performed. The County received a written report highlighting the deficiencies, estimated cost to repair the deficiencies, and an estimate of the remaining useful life of the various building systems.
Town of Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey
Building Evaluation: Performed a visual inspection of an 1860’s firehouse located in Morristown for structural and code deficiencies. The structure was originally designed for horse and buggy-type fire-fighting apparatus, and it was needed to be determined if it could handle the increased load from today’s water-filled fire trucks. The report recommended that the firehouse be closed to active duty due to both fire code and structural deficiencies.
Town of Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey
Municipal garage: An existing township garage suffered severe damage when the roof collapsed under a heavy snow load. A new roof truss system was designed as well as repairs to the concrete masonry walls. Contract documents were developed and the construction monitored.
Plandome Township, Long Island, New York
Municipal garage: Designed a new four-bay concrete masonry maintenance garage, including road salt storage bay. The roof structure consisted of wood trusses covered with plywood and asphaltic shingles. In addition to the garage, the design consisted of the site work.
South Brunswick Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey
Road Design: Improvement of Georges Road from intersection with Ridge/Culver Roads at the north and Debra Road to the south. Improvements included making the sidewalk and curbing contiguous by installing missing sections of curbing and sidewalk, thereby enhancing pedestrian safety and mobility along the approximate one mile corridor of Georges Road. The project included the vertical and horizontal design of the curb and sidewalk along the western side of Georges Road.
County of Middlesex, NJ
Culvert Replacement: Replacement of Culvert 4-C-528, Friendship Road Spanning a Tributary to Devils Brook located in Plainsboro and South Brunswick Townships. The tasks performed included overseeing several engineers in the design of the vertical and horizontal alignment of Friendship Road, based on the proposed culvert opening, oversaw development of the hydraulic and hydrology report and obtained the environmental permits. Also oversaw the bidding process and the construction of the culvert replacement.
